I have been an occupational therapist for over 14 years working both in hospitals and out in the community. I am passionate about knowing what is important to you and working with you on your goals. I aspire to enable individuals to live their lives to their fullest potential, working with them and the important people in their life, family members and carers, enabling them to participate in the day to day tasks they want to, need to and are expected to complete. I have a particular interest in neuroplasticity and in conducting therapy with the use of sensory modulation, nature therapy and creative arts.
Alongside my occupational therapy degree, I have completed a certificate in Dance/Movement therapy and utilise this frequently when working with people. I was fortunate enough to travel to the picturesque British Columbia and work in Canada as an occupational therapist out of a Physiotherapy clinic. Since returning from living and working in Canada I now have 3 beautiful little boys and enjoy adventuring in the wilderness on the Surf Coast Vic and the snow in the Mount Buller region.
